Fruit Punch

Megan’s fruit punch was delicious, but it had one problem: it made Carmen feel groggy too quickly.
“That’s not a problem,” the birthday girl whispered. “You want this… and to go deeper.”
“You’re right…” Carmen muttered, eyes dropping.
“I always am.”
Megan led her drugged friend to the bedroom. The party was about to begin.

How this story came to be

I had a glass of (non-alcoholic) fruit punch today. It was really good. It inspired me to write something about it and this is what came out. Drugs are bad but mesmerizing fantasies are good, right?
