Craig didn’t watch the Eurovision Song Contest for the music – only the female performers and their hypnotic dance moves.
He stared at the screen, waiting for his mind to drift away, but nothing happened. Nothing.
Finally, he gave up, muscles sore, stomach growling. He didn’t notice that forty-eight hours had passed, and he never will.
How this story came to be
The first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest was today and Portugal made it to the final, against all odds. We’re not going to win again anytime soon but it’s still nice to see even if I’m not that fond of this year’s song, myself.
Anyway, the idea for this one came to me as I was stealing occasional glances at the show. We’ve all had moments where we “lose time”, right? Imagine if it happened this way.
