Rachel gasped – Vanessa was standing at her doorstep, waving her favorite pocket watch.
“Is it really you?” she asked.
“Hello, my pet,” Vanessa smiled. “Yes, I’m back.”
“For how long?”
“For as long as you want.”
“I want you always.”
“What a perfect conditioned response…” Vanessa grinned. It was good to be the Queen again.
How this story came to be
We’re back to the normal schedule starting today and I wanted to write something that involved the idea of “return”. This was the first idea that came to me and so I ran with it.
