Dawn was an expert magician. Her favorite trick was making things disappear.
She did it to Angie’s wedding ring, Luke’s black pants, her stepfather’s vintage car…
And then, she met Alice, a tall woman with hypnotic green eyes.
Dawn is still an expert magician, but her free will disappeared, and she’s never getting it back.
How this story came to be
Just a simple little thing. Day was weird again but better than yesterday, so that’s a positive right there. I don’t really know where the idea came from me, only that disappearing acts needed at the center of it. As you’ve read it already, they are, and now, I’m going to disappear, too. Bye.
