Everything Will Be Better
The air around Joan was toxic, the nerve agent driving people insane.
“Why are you doing this?” Rita asked, eyes turning red. “You’re killing us!”
“No, I’m perfecting you. Everything will be better once you’re reanimated as my zombie drones,” she smiled.
Joan continued to walk around her old office, changing everyone one by one.
How this story came to be
Today was a relatively good day as I had more time to rest. That doesn’t mean I stood still, though. I was still creative but in a different way.
Anyway, random impromptu as I unwind and get ready to go to bed. It came out as a dark horror-like fantasy because I do enjoy a bit of darkness every now and then. Do you want to become a drone, too?
