Everything was normal inside Alana’s house.
It was normal to kiss her feet.
It was normal to always be trailing behind her like a lovesick puppy.
It was normal to spend three hours locked inside a dark cage listening only to her voice.
It was normal to be her brainwashed slave.
Richard kneeled and smiled.
How this story came to be
Some people say normality is overrated, others can’t live without it. Of course, the very concept of what’s normal differs from person to person. Society normalizes some things through rules and conventions, but we all have our way of viewing things and our own personal boundaries that help shape our definition of normal. I bet for some of you, an experience like this would be normal, too.
