Don’t Touch It

There was something slimy on the back of Angie’s head.
“Don’t touch it!” Claire exclaimed,
“What is it?”
“My new parasite. It will slowly consume your free will and turn you into my slave.”
“And if I do this?” Angie tried to rip it off.
Slowness be damned! The creature’s poison spread through her veins.

How this story came to be

Nocturnal impromptu. Something that came to me after I found a slug slithering in my bedroom. My cat saw it too and was ready to pounce at it, but I stopped at him. Slugs aren’t parasite but they’re slimy, and so the concept was born.
