Clara was dumbfounded.
“Did you say no to me? You can’t do that!”
“Yeah, your brainwashing doesn’t work anymore,” Ally replied.
“That’s impossible! My methods are perfect!”
“And your sister is one hell of a deprogrammer,” Ally shrugged. “Speaking of which, I’m meeting her for dinner, and then we’re fucking all night long. Bye, bitch!”
How this story came to be
Just something that came to me right now. Usually, when I write about “evil” mind-controller, they win the day, but not always. It was time to turn the tables again, and that’s exactly what happened in this piece. Now, if you want to be cynical, you can always interpret the piece differently. If Clara’s sister can deprogram people, she must be an excellent programmer. Did she just steal her sister’s pet under the guise of a good deed or is she really a good person and there were no second intentions attached to her actions? Decide which possibility you like the most for yourself.
