“Alexandra?”
“Yes, General?”
“The French Delegates cancelled their visit to our facilities and the Pentagon is asking why.”
“Why are you looking at me like that?”
“Please… What happened?”
“I met them yesterday at the hotel and we ate some croissants… Why they ended stuffing their asses with them is beyond me.”
The General sighed.
How this story came to be
Do you like croissants? I do. I’m not going to say they’re my favorite pastry, but they’re great with butter, cream cheese, jam, cheese, etc. I had one today that was glazed with raspberry sauce that was quite tasty and the idea for this piece came to me as I was eating it. For Alexandra, nothing is sacred, not even food, but you already knew that, right?
