“What would it take for you to be completely hypnotized?” Martha asked.
“What?” Francis shook his head.
“Are you going to fall for me now or right after I stop talking?”
“Huh?”
“When you’re already asleep, how deep can you go?”
“I’m confused.”
“Not for long.”
She snapped her fingers, and his mind went blank.

A bit of wordplay, a bit of confusion… I was freestyling when I wrote this but I think it turned out okay. Do you agree?
