Captured Again

Clark panicked when he saw the police car following him. This was the last thing he needed!
“Can I help you, officer?” he asked, rolling down the driver’s window.
“Yes,” the policeman replied, eyes glassy. “Return to your hypnotic mistress immediately and I won’t shoot you.”
The runaway servant sighed for having been captured again.

How this story came to be

My first instinct for today was to do a leap year piece, but I ended up doing that for today’s daily caption challenge, so I needed a new angle to work with. This was the first thing that came to mnd, for some reason. Resistance is always futile especially when your hypnotic mistress has the police department working for her.
