Mesmerizing Melody

The melody playing in the background of Goddess Wanda’s Studio was unlike anything Alan had ever heard. The heavily processed sounds made his eyes and thoughts heavy.
“What is it?” He queried.
“All my hypnoslaves reciting their mantras in unison. Mesmerizing, isn’t it?” She smirked.
He mindlessly nodded in agreement as his voice joined them.

As I mentioned in the past before, music is my second love after writing and one of my greatest regrets is never to have learned to properly play an instrument. I wish I had the training at an early age but that never came to be, so…

Anyway, while I do improvise a few things here and there on my keyboard, my relationship with music is more on the listener’s side. I enjoy having it play in the background when I’m updating the site for instance. I was doing just that when this idea came to me and then I wrote it down. As simple as that.

New Vaccine

Alan’s sudden rash on his left arm caught Trevor’s attention.
“Don’t tell me you had the new vaccine!”
“Of course, I did. What about you?”
“Nah. Don’t want any female supremacy mind-controlling shit on my body!”
“You’re being paranoid.”
“And you just dropped to your knees when a woman walked by you…”
Alan drooled, ecstatically.

With the coronavirus vaccination campaign now in full swing, recent reports about the side effects caused by some of the vaccines out there are starting to cast doubts on many good people. Someone I know is quite paranoid about it, not to the point of believing Bill Gates had something to do with anything and other weird conspiracy theories like that but…

Anyway, according to our government’s timetable, my mother – who’s feeling a lot better now – should be receiving a call to be vaccinated sometime during next month. As I’m not part of any risk group, my call should only come during the Summer months. In the meantime, I wrote a humorous piece on vaccines. Do you want a shot of this one?

Blank Today…

Francis stared at the blank canvas hanging by the entrance of Betty’s house, unable to move, his thoughts gone.
“Excellent” She purred, descending the main stairs wearing a tight leather catsuit. “I see the trigger implantation worked perfectly.”
“Yes, Mistress.” He replied, automatically.
Blank today, blank tomorrow. His days of free will are no more.

Have you ever had one of those days where it feels like you have no thoughts at all? I’ve had a few and today was almost one of them. Yes, almost, because the thoughts weren’t really gone but certainly weren’t a priority.

Work was boring, today, quite mechanical in nature. I felt it squashing everything else and the day dragged on forever as a result. So what do I end up writing about when I’m allowed to exercise my creative side once again? Yeah, blank minds… cool, huh?

Make it Rain

“Don’t do it, Jack!” Walter pleaded.
“I have no choice.”
“Of course, you do. Think of your wife, your kids…”
“I am, but Goddess’ suggestions are too strong… I’m sorry. I must obey.”
“Wait!”
Everybody watching Channel 6 that night was disgusted to see the weatherman suddenly whip out his cock and make it rain.

This piece came to me as I was watching the weather report for the next few days. Nowadays, the major news channels around here only air a colorful animated graph, but I still remember the days when weathermen (and women) were the highlight of the show. We actually had more famous weathermen than women.

That was my first thought but I also had another idea right at the same time involving a form of hypnotic “suicide” and another with some public humiliation. Somehow, the three came together in this one (no pun intended this time, unlike the story’s punchline.)
