It Could Be Worse

“Why is there a dog barking in the house?” Andrew asked.
“It’s no dog. It’s your brother.” Charlene replied.
“Okay, why is he barking?”
“Meowing isn’t his forte.”
“You hypnotized him again, didn’t you?”
“It could be worse.”
“How?”
“I could have done the same to you.”
Andrew gulped and kept quiet all night long.

Day 13 of quarantine vacations. More rain and I haven’t been feeling too well all day. I wasn’t feeling great yesterday either. Dogs have been restless too, and have been barking a lot for some reason. I hope I’m not getting sick, we’ll see. Won’t do any major writing tomorrow as I’m in need of another small break, it seems.

Anyway, the barking dogs inspired this one. And yeah, meowing isn’t their forte either, go figure!

Hypnotic Souls

Beautiful Pain

The childish message by the fog door read:
“Beautiful pain but hole.”
“Cute…” Daniel, a.k.a. SirNeverFalters mumbled as he crossed the threshold of the boss arena.
She stood in the center, sinuous, beautiful, lance spiraling in her left hand. It captured his thoughts as easily as taking a step forward.
Impalement never felt so good.

Day 14 of quarantine vacations. Mostly a rest day to see if my strength returns. My headache is still here and I haven’t been sleeping very well.

This piece was yet another impromptu. I like “Souls” games quite a bit and though I’m not that much of a player, I’ve been able to 100% a couple. I always thought it would be fun if there was something akin to a ‘charm’ status effect in one of them although being hypnotized into submission by a boss right on the cusp of victory would probably make a lot of folks rage quit even more.

Treasure

The necklace laid atop the broken pillar, forgotten by Time.
“You call that a treasure?” Pierre muttered. “Junk. Nothing more.”
“Hardly…” Marie touched the center gem. The old relic stirred as forbidden magic sprang to life. A portal cracked the air around them. Vitreous eyes smiled from beyond the threshold.
The Goddess was coming home.

Last day of quarantine vacations. Going back to work tomorrow. This has certainly been… interesting.

One last impromptu, classic fantasy fare. With all the gods and goddesses out there constantly trying to take over the world, why not one with a Femdom vibe?

Updates tomorrow will appear a little later than usual as I re-adjust my schedule again. Stay safe, folks.

Who Needs Words?

Words. He had them once. There were no secrets to them. He knew exactly what they meant and how to turn them into meaningful sentences, but that was before the candle she was holding. The fire burned all into acquiescing mindlessness. Her spellbinding eyes did the rest.
Who needs words when you can have moans?

Back to work today and it felt weird. There’s an aura of dread all around. You can see people are scared. Sometimes, I feel a bit anxious too (I’m only human after all) but need to cope. My dogs got quite upset when they saw me leave. Luckily, they were waiting for me with happy tails when I got back. Feeling quite tired as there were a lot of things to do. It’s going to take a while until I get back in gear.

Had lunch alone. I sat with my little black book in hand and, for a while, nothing came out. Words were stuck on my throat and the tips of my fingers. When I finally snapped out of the strange stupor, this came out. Do you agree that words are unnecessary when there’s endless pleasure to be had?

There’s already talk of things slowly opening up around here. People want “normal”. We’ll see what happens, one day at a time.
