When in Rome...

When in Rome…

“Alexandra?”
“Yes, General?”
“Why are you at The Vatican?”
“I came to check if His Holiness is as holy as they say…”
“And…?” He trembled.
“Too many crosses, just one ass…” she laughed.
The General hung up the phone and buried his head in reports wishing it were all an April Fools’ prank.
It wasn’t.

It’s Easter but it’s also April Fools’ Day, which is quite the combination. On one hand, we have a religious holiday filled with significance even for non-believers and on the other, a celebration of “lies” and tomfoolery. I wanted to combine the two of them in 55 words somehow and when I stopped to think about it, Alexandra decided it was time to take charge once again. This is satire, this is humor plain and simple, so don’t take any offense, okay? She’s just a wicked hypnotist/secret agent wanting to have some fun.

The tile comes from the popular expression “When in Rome, do as the Romans do” but no one ever uses the full sentence anymore. It means “going with the flow” in a way, and Romans often head to The Vatican to see The Pope because the independent state is right in the middle of the city so what did you expect her to do, really? Who knows, perhaps next time you’re the one she’ll be visiting…

Stuck

Stuck

“Matt, where are you?”
“In the bathroom, Courtney. Having a bit of a… situation.”
“Oh?”
“I was listening to your hypnotic arousal file and things got a little out of hand.”
“They were supposed to be in hand…”
“I’m not laughing. My cock is stuck on the toilet.”
“Ouch.”
Too bad she needed to pee.

Believe it or not, this one came to be as I was cleaning the toilet this morning. No, I didn’t get stuck there and even if I did, it’s not like I would brazenly admit such a thing, especially on a public site for everyone to read. I just happened to imagine someone indeed getting stuck, then wondering how that came to be and finally realizing there was potential for a little bit of twisted humor in all of these mental ramblings. I often ask my mind how she ends up coming up with these things and often I come to the conclusion it’s best not to ask at all. This is definitely one of those times but I can only hope you had a laugh or two.

Invading a Frenchman

Invading a Frenchman

“Did you know they have a complex named after you?” the time-traveling hypnotist said.
“What kind of complex?” Napoleon asked.
“The kind that promotes overly-aggressive or domineering social behavior to compensate for lack of stature.”
“I’m not small!”
“Not when instructed. Grow hard now!”
“Yes, Mistress.”
French Invasions be damned! Invading a Frenchman was hotter.

I was reminded of Napoleon’s Complex for no particular reason. The thought of it was just there waiting for me to do something with it but what exactly? Well, I could have just incorporated it in a tale without a parody of the historical figure but I like my silly humor and I know you do too so between going for something vague and choosing the path of maximum hilarity, I went for the latter. I still make my own choices, you know? Well, except for those times when I’m hypnotized, brainwashed, and acting on suggestions to write silly things but that doesn’t happen because this is all fiction, right? I hope you had a good laugh out of this one.

Knight Knight

Knight Knight

“Come on, I want to fight!” The knight brandished his sword.
“I’d rather fuck…” the princess replied. She was possessed, she had to be, a witch of old clouding her spirit.
“Well, hmmm, I suppose we…” he mumbled, armor feeling heavy.
“… your mind,” she concluded.
The new statue looked really good by the bedroom door.

A random impromptu, really. This time around, I can’t pinpoint an exact reference for this one, even though I’d really like to. It’s a little bit of magic, a little bit of silliness. Medieval Fantasy tends to be fun even if riddled with cliches, nowadays. Luckily, the knight won’t have to worry about any of that as he sleeps, frozen for her. He probably wouldn’t have been able to undress the armor on his own, anyway. I hope you had fun.
