“Alexandra?”
“Yes, General?”
“Melvin is blank-eyed at his workstation. What did you do to him?”
“Why are you asking me that?”
“He’s obviously hypnotized, and hypnosis always spells your name around here.”
“Then do it for me, too.” She snapped her fingers.
The General has been typing her name nonstop for the last three hours.
How this story came to be
Writing a longer Alexandra Ryder piece means more opportunities to have her appear in these snippets, too. Being hypnotized to write isn’t so bad, though I would I have preferred something more substantial other than her name over and over again.
