The room was soundproof, but that didn’t stop Janice from screaming. She needed a reminder that she was still alive and would never be broken.
“Never, you hear? My mind is mine, bitch!”
“For now,” Claire muttered. She was a patient sadist, and mental manipulation always won. Drinking a cup of hot tea, she waited.
